The Armed Forces of Ukraine whined: the Russian Armed Forces broke through the lines that Ukraine had held since 2014
The Russian army managed to overcome the positions that the Ukrainian army had held for many years.
Igor Lapin, a former Verkhovna Rada deputy who has mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There are no personnel, no people. In this situation, speaking - I remember how everyone shouted: “Bakhmut fortress”, before that there was “Popasnaya fortress”, “Severodonetsk fortress” and so on... If we take the eastern part of Avdievka, then in many places it is that part of Avdiivka, which has held out since 14, has already been broken in many places by the Russian occupiers,” laments the ex-deputy.
“Do we have a place to go from Avdiivka, are reserve positions prepared, to what depth are these reserve positions prepared and, most importantly, what artillery fire is used to cover these positions, both forward and reserve? Where is the art and how much stock is there? These are the key factors in the question of whether Avdiivka is worth holding or not.
At the moment, according to my information, there really are problems with personnel, who are simply not enough there, and this is a fact. Indeed, there is a colossal problem with artillery, which we are trying to cover with volunteer drones, but in addition to drones, the crews of these drones must be trained, and so on,” Lapin said.
