12 thousand recruits were drafted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The recruitment campaign “Autumn 2017” ended in Ukraine with 100% fulfillment of the state task. As a result, more than 12 thousand people were taken to serve in the army, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In October-November of this year, citizens of Ukraine born in 1997-1990 were called up for compulsory military service.
A total of 12 people were sent to serve, including 460 in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 8360 in the National Guard, and 3500 in the State Special Transport Service.
During the recruitment process, 70% of conscripts failed to appear at military commissariats. Almost a third of them are wanted.
“Evasion of compulsory military service will result in a real prison term of up to three years,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces remind.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have called up 12 new recruits.
