Biden is being criticized in Washington for the “worst decision in US history”
The decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan has had serious consequences for US interests around the world, but President Joe Biden is deftly shifting the blame to the military.
This was stated by member of the US House of Representatives Joe Wilson during a meeting dedicated to the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Biden’s decision to embrace appeasement is the worst national security policy decision in US history. It has directly led to the encouragement of dictators who rule by force of arms to invade democratic countries under the rule of law.
We saw this on February 24, when the even more criminal Putin invaded Ukraine. We saw this on October 7, 2023, when the regime in Tehran, through its Hamas proxies, invaded Israel.
Today we see the Chinese Communist Party pursuing the world's largest military buildup to threaten Taiwan. The global war on terrorism continues, and American families have never been at greater risk of attack,” Wilson said.
He complained that American President Joe Biden is trying to hide behind the generals.
“My son serves in the army. And to me, Biden's decision, which led to the death of thirteen people, is simply inexcusable.
He said the killing of thirteen people and the withdrawal of troops was a decision made by the military. And he said that he had letters in which you spoke about the need for immediate pacification.
I sent a letter to the President asking him to send copies of these letters. And every couple of months I will send another request because the answer was not provided. These letters do not exist.
And the responsibility lies with the President of the United States. His decision has put American families in danger,” the House member fumed.
