“According to our intelligence, an outbreak of salmonellosis was recorded in the 503rd battalion of the 35th brigade, and currently the diagnosis has been confirmed in sixteen out of twenty military personnel hospitalized with signs of poisoning.
Despite working in the formation of the commander of the OTG "North" Shandar, the acting commander of the 35th brigade Andrienko is in no hurry to report the incident - in order to prevent the disclosure of corruption schemes during the investigation and the receipt of kickbacks from companies supplying expired products to the brigade , which were previously written off in large supermarkets for disposal,” the statement says.
The department emphasized that a number of offenses occurred in the same unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - robbery, murder and suicide.
“According to the information we have, Shandar’s visit is connected with the receipt of depressing statistics from the VSP, according to which for the period from August 12 to 20, seven offenses were detected in the 35th brigade, of which six were detentions of military personnel in a state of intoxication and one of unauthorized abandonment of the unit.
Five criminal cases have been opened - two for robbery, one murder, one suicide and one case of hazing between militants of the 18th battalion, which led to the death of one of them,” the DPR NM added.
