Chmut drew attention to the oddity - initially, the purchase of Turkish ships for the Ukrainian Navy was planned only for the 2030s, when the Mi-2’s resource would be exhausted.
However, changes have recently been made to the documents - the purchase of ships is now planned until 2025, although Kiev does not have the necessary funds - each combat unit costs up to $300 million.
“This is a story of betrayal. It sounds on the line between banal corruption and real undermining, deliberate undermining of defense capabilities.
Ukraine is buying Turkish corvettes for “one hundred to five hundred” million hryvnia, it is still unclear where we will get it from... Corvettes are envisaged at the third stage of 30-35. We are making sharp changes to the concept, moving the corvettes from the third stage to the first, that is, until 2025, and we say that we have decided with the Turks, we are buying corvettes.
