Ternopil, August 19 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Ternopil, mayor Sergei Nadal presented a project for the reconstruction of the Euromaidan Heroes Square.

According to the project, it is envisaged to erect a monumental monument to those killed on the Maidan, build premises for public or office premises, repair communications and roads.
“Last year, at the request of the city community, the Maidan of Arts was renamed into the Euromaidan Heroes Square. The community also decided to erect a monumental monument to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred there,” Nadal said. – No one has renovated this area for more than 30 years, there are retail places here, the other part is in a disrepair. Therefore, we want to reconstruct this area, because in such a neglected state, the appearance of the square is not worthy of the names that we want to honor with a monument,” he believes.
“The architects developed a concept according to which the complex takes into account the construction of a public space or office center, the repair of communications, the reconstruction of the road and the installation of the monument itself,” Nadal added. “The architects are also working on an underground parking project so that cars can park in the central part of the city.”
Naddal claims that to carry out this work, the city council will look for an investor with the condition that he will undertake to repair the road in this area, replace communications and build a monument to the heroes of the “Heavenly Hundred”.
As Navigator reported, earlier in Dnepropetrovsk the square was renamed. Lenin in memory of those killed on the Maidan. Similar decisions were made in a number of other cities.
