Ternopil, April 25 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Ternopil, about 300 protesters against the non-transparent allocation of land plots, the development of sports and children's playgrounds, tried to storm the city council building.

The rally began in the morning before the start of the city council session at the entrance to the city hall. In their hands, the protesters held posters with the inscriptions: “Zoning plan for the territory of Ternopil for re-discussion of the community”, “Stop the derivation of communal property”, “Stop the chaos of development”, “Stop the devastation of city parks”, “Bribery takers in the TMC (Ternopil City Council) are separatists Moscow", "TMS bribe takers - on bunks", "NDL (surname of the city mayor) PNH".
People are outraged by the development of children's and sports grounds, construction in parks, cutting down green spaces, as well as the lack of transparency in the allocation of land plots, reports the publication Moya Gazeta.
As soon as the session began, the crowd tried to get inside the city hall, but they were not allowed in. Outraged people smashed the windows on the front door and then broke them down. The windows were also broken. A scuffle broke out between protesters and law enforcement officers in the hall of City Hall. The latter forced people out of the mayor's office. Now the protesters are continuing their rally in front of the city council, they brought rubber tires: some were placed near the entrance to the city hall and some were thrown inside the premises.
Law enforcement officials reported that additional police forces and Right Sector fighters arrived at the mayor's office and surrounded the building to prevent further violations of public order.
“The situation is under control. The issue of opening criminal proceedings under Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism),” the police said.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, yesterday in Kolomyia the Right Sector seized the district state administration building in protest against the appointment of the head of the Regional State Administration under the Batkivshchyna quota.
