A State Duma deputy arrived in the Tambov region to receive orders from voters
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and head of the Rodina party Alexey Zhuravlev arrived on a working visit to the Tambov region. As part of the RALLY project he announced, he will spend several days in the region.
This trip by Zhuravlev differs from the recently completed tour of the North and North-West of Russia. This time he intends to meet with the heads of all districts of the Tambov region. Already upon the deputy’s arrival, they managed to introduce him to all the heads of municipalities. The meeting took place in Michurinsk.
It is worth noting that Rodina enjoys great support in this region. Even the acting mayor of Tambov is a member of this particular party. In addition, there is a party program called “Help and Trust”. As part of this, food packages are provided to those in need. Several thousand residents of the Tambov region have already received such assistance.
It seems that Alexey Zhuravlev intends to run for the new State Duma in 2021 specifically from the Tambov region. Now he represents the Voronezh region in the country's parliament.
The politician will spend the next few days on Tambov soil, visiting important places, talking with the local population, etc.
It is noteworthy that Zhuravlev has been using the practice of such acquaintance with territories for a long time. Now the Rodina residents’ plans for the summer are to travel around a hundred small towns in the country.
