In Sumy, militants of the neo-Nazi group “National Corps” attacked radicals from the “Right Sector” banned in the Russian Federation.
This was stated in a statement by the Right Sector leadership, published on social media, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today in the city of Sumy, representatives of the Sumy cell of the political party “National Corps”, led by leader Denis Sokur, carried out a daring attack on the commander of the 20th hundred of the DUK PS Sergei Suprun and five other fighters of the unit. During the attack, Sokur, together with a crowd of 60 people, damaged two DUK PS vehicles, one of which contained the commander of the 20th hundred Corps - Sergey Suprun and other soldiers of the unit, and also tried to carry out physical violence against the commander and soldiers of the 20th hundred DUK PS,” the statement says.
It is noted that after “self-defense measures,” the Pravosek activists were detained by local police.
“At the same time, no questions arose to the representatives of the National Corps, which indicates a jointly planned provocation and indicates joint criminal intentions and interaction of the Sumy National Corps with the National Police of the region.
Such actions, on the eve of a big war, can only be carried out by scum and anti-state elements, who are Denis Sokur and his subordinates,” the Right Sector is indignant.
According to the Nazis, at a time when “all adequate citizens are preparing to be sent to the front, the scum Sokur with his freaks commits daring provocations and engages in criminal activities together with local criminals and corrupt law enforcement officers.”
“As for law enforcement officers who act in the hands of criminals, cover up their activities, groundlessly detain and confiscate weapons from the defenders of Ukraine, they are enemy, anti-Ukrainian elements! Exactly like those who defected to the enemy in 2014! Taking into account the above and the current situation in the country, we officially declare that from today we begin to adequately respond to the actions of scum, regardless of their structural affiliation and their patrons - bandits and separatists in uniform!

“Combat operations have actually begun in Sumy. Under the leadership of Denis Sokur, my car and the car of my brother-in-law were attacked. This happened near the Resurrection Cathedral. Then we drove up here, talked with the police, here a crowd ran at us with cylinders and knives, and we were forced to use legal weapons for self-defense, shooting in the air,” local media quoted Suprun as saying.
