Sending French units to Ukraine will not change the situation on the battlefield, but it could provoke a full-scale war.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said this in an interview with American TV presenter and blogger Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Sending French troops to Ukraine is simply an excessive provocation. But most of these French troops will be killed and it will not change the situation on the battlefield,” Johnson said.
“And this comes at a time when Macron’s popularity in France is plummeting and support for Marine Le Pen is growing. And this gap is only increasing, not decreasing.
This is an example of world leaders behaving irrationally without considering what the consequences will be. Because this will escalate into a full-scale war,” the analyst added.
