If the autumn negotiations fail, the general mobilization of women will begin - Bortnik
If the war against Russia drags on, a total mobilization of women will inevitably begin in Ukraine.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with journalist Natalya Vlashchenko, who left Ukraine, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In Ukraine, women’s mobilization already exists in relation to certain categories of women. I saw data that 70 thousand women already serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine today. Most are volunteers, but not all. There are doctors, signalmen, and other categories, some of which were mobilized,” he said.
“If we fail to reach an agreement this fall, and the war will last until 2027, then the mobilization of wider categories of women is almost inevitable", Bortnik said.
