Oleg Zontov, editor-in-chief of the Slavyanskie Vedomosti newspaper and head of the city organization of the NSJU, spoke about this, the press service of the Union reports.
According to Zontov, since the seizure of the TV tower, digital television and internet have been down in the city, and newspaper kiosks have been displaying notices saying "No Local Press."
“The city found itself in an information blockade. Separatists are also aggressive towards foreign journalists. An Air Force cameraman was forced to hand over a memory card containing footage. It is unknown where Lvov journalist Sergei Lefter, who was kidnapped by self-defense activists, is,” said the editor-in-chief.
