In Shyrokino, volunteer battalions were replaced by marines - Ukrainian journalist

"They are going away. The volunteers, who drove the militants out of Shirokino in February and held the defense on the coastal heights for several months in a row, have just completely withdrawn from the village. Replacing each other on “Mayak”, on “Domiki”, on the flanks, “Donbass” with a company of Pravoseks and “Azov” kept the war on the approaches to Mariupol and did not let it into the city. And today, for the first time since February, “Azov” did not replace “Donbass,” Tsaplienko wrote.
According to him, instead of volunteers, Marines took over the checkpoints and positions.
