Simferopol, July 23 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) - In Sevastopol, a criminal investigation has been completed against a 21-year-old resident of the Nakhimovsky district, accused of rape, as well as committing violent acts of a sexual nature.

This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee for the city of Sevastopol.
According to the investigation, on May 11, a 21-year-old resident of one of the hostels in Sevastopol broke into the room where a 39-year-old woman with group II disabilities lived. The attacker, taking advantage of the helpless state of the neighbor, raped her and committed violent acts of a sexual nature against her.
The rapist has been detained. At the request of the investigation, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
The investigation has collected a sufficient evidence base, and therefore the criminal case with an approved indictment has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
