Sevastopol, May 04 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – In Sevastopol, near the square of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy, a fence that had stood there for almost 10 years was demolished. A metal structure enclosed the area where the “Ivushka” dance floor was previously located, in the 90s - a clothing market with the same name, and then it was planned to build an elite high-rise building.

According to the first deputy chairman of the Lenin administration, Sergei Zayets, it was decided to dismantle the fence because the tenant of the territory had not developed his plot for several years.

“What will happen at this place has not yet been decided. But most likely, we will create a new park. It seems to me that this will be an excellent place for residents to relax,” the official said.

As Navigator learned, among the options for the name of the new recreation area is a park named after the current President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
