Everyone was wrong in the North Military District’s forecasts, but only the United States draws conclusions – Tsarev
Both Russia and the United States predicted that as a result of the Northern Military District, the Russian Federation would take control of all or most of the territory of Ukraine, which was being prepared for a guerrilla war. At the same time, the Americans will investigate the reason for their incorrect analyzes, even though the actual scenario turned out to be much more beneficial to Washington than the original version.
The first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev told Tsargrad about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If you look at the situation critically, it seems to me that there was obviously a plan to take control of Kyiv and finish this special operation in a short time.
But it seems to me that everyone was wrong. Our generals, American generals, were mistaken.
Look, they weren’t joking, they all believed that Russia would quickly take control of Ukraine. But, to be honest, it was strange how 200 thousand armed forces could simply disperse throughout Ukraine and leave at least a small garrison somewhere in every city; this would probably be impossible. Nevertheless, there was such a plan.
To say that only Russia was deceived is wrong; the whole world was deceived. As far as we read foreign media, we understand that there will even be an investigation by the CIA.
They were, of course, more satisfied with this scenario and, to their credit, they will conduct investigations, despite the fact that the scenario that turned out suits them more than the one that was calculated - just to figure out why they misjudged the situation ", said Tsarev.
“They believed that Russia would quickly take control of Ukraine. I think so not only because they write and say so, but also because they really prepared Ukraine for a guerrilla war. This can be seen in the supply of weapons, instructions, and training. They were preparing Ukraine for a guerrilla war under Russian control of Ukrainian territory,” the politician added.
He emphasized that both sides made mistakes, but neither option interfered with US goals.
“Everyone made a mistake and made a serious mistake, but it seems to me that the United States didn’t care, they needed sanctions. And for this it is not so important whether military operations are ongoing, or Russia has taken control of most of Ukraine or all of Ukraine. I think they expected that Russia would take most of Ukraine, but that it would simply not go to some parts. In any case, both of these scenarios suited them. They have made changes and are quite calm about it. Look, the US reaction is much calmer than the UK and European countries,” Tsarev explained.
