“In our opinion, Higgins’ act is an attempt to evade responsibility for his activities and the activities of Bellingcat. Thus, he can no longer be sued, which once again emphasizes the unreliability of the disputed publications. We managed to pin down another enemy of Russia, who was engaged in falsification and discrediting of our country and its leadership,” says a statement from the legal service of the Concord company.
Lawyers admit that by relinquishing all powers at Bellingcat, Eliot Higgins is trying to avoid responsibility for publishing false materials. Claims will not be filed against Higgins, since he is no longer related to the resource. This once again indicates the unreliability of the publications appearing on Bellingcat.
