Poltava, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In Poltava, a school teacher supplied schoolchildren with pornographic films, including those with the participation of children.

In agreement with the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv district of Poltava, the investigator of the regional department of internal affairs bodies informed the computer science teacher of one of the Poltava schools about the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 301 (distribution of images and other items of a pornographic nature) and Part 1 of Art. 156 (committing indecent acts against a person under sixteen years of age) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
This was announced by the prosecutor of the Kyiv district of the city Oleg Pleskach, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reports.
According to the prosecutor, during 2012-2014, the 40-year-old teacher, communicating through social networks with his students in grades 8-11, had obscene conversations with them and sent them pornographic images.
“During an authorized search in the suspect’s apartment and workplace, employees of the prosecutor’s office and the Kiev Regional Department of the PMU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the region seized a significant amount of pornographic materials (posters, photographs, films), including elements of child pornography,” said Oleg Pleskach.
At the request of the prosecutor's office, by decision of the Kyiv District Court, a preventive measure was chosen for the suspect - house arrest.
