It is indicated that the 29-year-old acting director of the regional utility company Nikolaev International Airport committed suicide by shooting himself with a combat pistol.
As the publication was told in the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Nikolaev region, his entire family was in the house at the time of the shot. Doctors and the investigative team of the Ingul police department arrived at the scene.
“The victim was urgently hospitalized, but died in an emergency hospital from his injuries,” the statement said.
According to preliminary data, the shot was fired from a PM combat pistol without license plates. The weapon was seized and sent for examination to the Research Center in the Nikolaev region.
According to relatives, the deceased had recently been depressed and expressed alarming intentions. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder), an investigation is underway. It is reported that Vladislav Voloshin was one of the heroes of the ATO and was awarded the Order of Courage, III degree.
