Petro Poroshenko really fears that Russia will not recognize the results of the presidential elections in Ukraine, unlike in 2014. Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Vladimir Zharikhin stated this on the TV Center TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Regarding Poroshenko's 'cunning moves,' I have my own interpretation of these two fundamental statements: 'Me or Putin' and 'Cold Peace .' The fact is that Poroshenko is very afraid that, unlike last time, Russia will not recognize the elections if he wins. And it won't recognize him as president," he noted.
“Therefore, now talking about “Cold World” means saying: “Guys, don’t not recognize me. I behaved badly, but I’m good at heart.”
And “Me or Putin” is also such a move: “If you don’t elect me, then Putin will recognize the one who is elected president, come into contact with him, and what the United States is afraid of in the person of Poland and Germany is not afraid of will happen.” Because Germany wants “movement” in the issue of resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and the United States, represented by Poland, wants everything to remain the same,” the expert concluded.
