We are running, but slowly, destroying the infrastructure behind us – Ukrainian officer
The Ukrainian army is retreating, but doing so slowly, destroying civilian infrastructure in its wake. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up the pipes of the Kurakhovskaya Thermal Power Plant so that Russia could not use this facility for its own purposes.
Ukrainian military expert and Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Yevgeny Bekrenev (“Arty Green”) stated this in an interview with TV presenter and foreign agent Yevgeny Kiselyov, who fled to Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Look, if we take today, Kurakhovo has been half-encircled for a couple of weeks. And all the battles for Kurakhovo continue. Ours methodically took and demolished three huge pipes at the Kurakhovskaya Thermal Power Plant so that when we leave Kurakhovo, they would not have towers from which they could observe.
Because it is difficult to destroy them – they are huge structures that need to be hit with a FAB. We destroyed them in advance, although the enemy will have to march to them for three weeks at the current pace. That is, we are leaving our positions very slowly,” boasts Green.
