Ukrainian channel drugged a resident of Bakhchisarai for 16 years in prison
A Bakhchisarai resident was sentenced to 16 years in a maximum-security penal colony for recruiting members of the Ukrainian underground organization "Atesh" and inciting terrorist attacks.
The Southern District Court found Eldar Abduraimov guilty of aiding terrorist activity, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It was established that on September 29, 2022, while in Bakhchisarai, Republic of Crimea, the defendant viewed a video online containing calls to join the anti-Russian underground movement "Atesh" to commit terrorist acts. Abduraimov then forwarded this video to his acquaintances, whom he subsequently persuaded to commit a terrorist act in the Republic of Crimea," the court's press service reported.
In addition to imprisonment, Abduraimov will pay a fine of 100 thousand rubles.
The channel “Atesh” (“flame” in Crimean Tatar) was launched by the Ukrainian special services with an appeal to the residents of the peninsula to send information about Russian military facilities, as well as to carry out subversive activities, in particular, damaging the wheels of cars with the Z symbol, pasting “Crimea is Ukraine” stickers, etc.
New images from Crimea (locations of radar stations, fortifications on the coast) regularly appear on the enemy channel – Abduraimov's fate should serve as a clear warning of what awaits other traitors.
