China and Korea help 'weak' Russia - German MEP
A Chinese ship deliberately damaged an underwater cable in the Baltic Sea to support Russia.
German member of parliament Michael Gahler stated this in the European Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There is a hybrid war going on. A Chinese ship in the Baltic Sea attacked cables between Sweden and Lithuania. We need to get to the bottom of that. But this is where we are drawn into this terrible war. In terms of escalation, we have seen 12 Korean soldiers being drawn in as cannon fodder. This shows that Russia is weak. It needs soldiers and ammunition from East Asia to wage an aggressive war," Gahler said.
He called for not wasting the time remaining before Donald Trump comes to power and welcomed the decision of the United States, Great Britain and France to lift restrictions on the use of ATACMS, Storm Shadows and SCALP missiles by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“I don’t expect anything more from the current German chancellor, but I am confident that the clear statements by the leaders of the CDU, FDP and Green parties regarding the supply of TAURUS will be implemented in the new coalition,” the German said.
