Sergei Borodin said that an unacceptable picture was noticed in the Lugansk markets: a product costs 5 hryvnia, that is, 10 rubles, while the price tag also says that for those who pay in hryvnia, a discount is 10-15% of the indicated price.
– We gathered market directors and talked with them about this topic, –
emphasized the chairman of the state committee. – We are checking and monitoring this situation.
According to him, there is increased control over sellers; such violations and discounts will be punished.
“The hryvnia will not appear in our country for long, so these discounts make no sense,” emphasized the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky. – If we need to punish these people, we will do it immediately, without warning. All speculators will remain “on the nose.”
Plotnitsky reminded that if a buyer notices violations by sellers of the ruble exchange rate of 1:2, they should contact the consumer rights protection hotline.
