Ukrainian cyclist spy caught red-handed in Crimea
A 28-year-old agent of the Ukrainian special services, who was collecting data on strategic targets, was detained in Crimea.
His services were paid for by the Ukrainian special services, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

It is noteworthy that the spy collected information while riding a bicycle. He was identified by employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He both collected information about strategically important objects on the territory of Crimea and published it in pro-Ukrainian channels.
Investigators identified the spy. He turned out to be a resident of the Simferopol region.
“During surveillance of the suspect, it was established that the citizen moved around populated areas near strategic sites on a bicycle and took photos and videos with a hidden camera.
Information was received that this person may store prohibited items and substances at his place of residence for the possible commission of extremist and terrorist crimes,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
During a search at the suspect’s place of residence, several mobile phones, mini-cameras for remote surveillance, computer equipment, flash drives, homemade drones and parts for them, a large amount of money in rubles and foreign currency, as well as explosives, including including TNT and an improvised explosive device.
The cyclist spy admitted that he carried out tasks for the Ukrainian intelligence services, for which he received a reward.
But the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a case for possession of explosives, while investigators will document other illegal activities, including those of a terrorist nature. The Simferopol District Court decided to take the suspect into custody during the investigation.
