The minister noted that we are talking about scientific research of the Ai-Petri plateau and Mount Chatyr-Dag.

“This year we intend to conduct authoritative research on whether or not it is possible to organize a ski resort on the northern slopes of Mount Chatyr-Dag and on the Ai-Petri plateau. So that it is clear to everyone - “yes-yes”, “no-no” from the point of view of science, climatology, from the point of view of opportunities and cost levels,” Volchenko said.

As PolitNavigator reported, Crimean environmentalists previously stated that the Yalta administration's intention to develop the protected Ai-Petri plateau, specifically by building a ski resort, campgrounds, and parking lots there, is "the craziest idea."
