In Kosovo, the 12th temple of the Serbian Orthodox Church has already been desecrated since April
Unknown persons desecrated and robbed the Church of St. Petka in the village of Donja Šipasnica in the Kamenica community.
The damaged church became the twelfth Serbian spiritual site in Kosovo to be attacked in the past month and a half, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The fact that the church was attacked was noticed by village residents who were going to work in the fields. They reported the incident to the local administration, which called the police.

“The deputy chairman of the Kamenica community, Boyan Stamenkovic, informed me about this hooligan act,” Stavrophe Archpriest Srdjan Stankovic told KosovoOnline about the incident. “We arrived at the scene and found a looted church. The holy chalice, paten and seven-branched candlestick were stolen.”
According to the priest, the church was mined by Albanian terrorists in 1999, it was also damaged by an earthquake, but the biggest problem for its restoration is a landslide.
“The municipality of Kamenica has allocated funds from the budget for repairs from the consequences of the landslide,” said Father Srdjan Stankovic.
“There has been a twelfth attack on a Serbian Orthodox Church site, which will most likely remain unsolved, without a judicial epilogue and punishment for the perpetrators... Outbreaks of hatred and religious intolerance, encouraged by the political leaders of Pristina, have led to the desecration of Serbian shrines, which is absolutely unacceptable in 21st century Europe “, representatives of the Kosovo Serb party “Serbian List” said in an address on the occasion.
Today, only four families remain in the village of Donja Shipashnica.
