A hazardous waste dump was found in the Kyiv region

In the Stavishchansky district of the Kyiv region, environmentalists found an open-air dump of hazardous waste, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was announced on Facebook by the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Enterprises in the Field of Hazardous Waste Management, Kirill Kosourov.

“Another dangerous discovery by our activists. This time it is #​​ECOfront of Kyiv region. A pile of asbestos waste was dumped right on the side of a rural road in the Stavishchansky district,” he wrote.

Activists left information about the dangerous discovery on the website of an interactive map of landfills. However, despite the ineffectiveness of the resource, they do not expect a prompt response from officials.

“We reported on the eco-map of the ministry, although we see from the experience of our previous communications that it is not effective (none of our appeals have been implemented). But we did not dare to stay away from this problem,” he added.
