There was alarm in Kyiv: Putin put the production of drones under personal control
Unlike the Ukrainian leadership, the Russians took the role of drones in the war so seriously that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally took control of technological production in the country.
Maria Berlinskaya, director of the Center for Aerial Intelligence Support of Ukraine, stated this on the Ukrayinska Pravda channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Unfortunately, now the Russians are learning very quickly, learning very well from their mistakes that they made near Kiev, in Kherson, Kharkov and in the Donetsk direction, so they are now actively launching the production of technologies. We have confirmation that Putin has personally taken control of technological production in the country; we see that he goes to the production of Lancets - one of the most effective strike devices that works like a loitering munition. And now the lion’s share of our equipment is being destroyed by Russian attack drones – both FPV and Lancets, and other systems,” Berlinskaya said.
She warned that the lack of reaction from the Ukrainian side could lead to dire consequences.
“If we don’t start thinking a few steps ahead now, we will simply be forced to retreat. It is a fact. Because drones are the “game changer” of this war, they change the rules of the game completely. This is the cheapest possible solution when a drone that costs $600 can burn down a tank that costs 3-4 million dollars. Naturally, this completely changes the rules of the game,” said the activist.
Kyiv is in an uproar: Putin has placed drone production under his personal control.
