In Kyiv they again threaten residents of Crimea with “persecution without a statute of limitations”
Mejlis members are threatening Crimeans involved in organizing the Russian presidential elections on the peninsula with criminal charges. This was stated on the ATR television channel by Izet Gdanov, deputy "permanent representative of the president in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He stated that participation in organizing elections is equivalent to “high treason,” and Ukraine will know the lists of “traitors” involved in this.

“Citizens in Crimea must realize that they will be responsible for this. There is no crime term for this. This is high treason. Their activities in this matter can be qualified as high treason. And they will bear responsibility irrevocably here, on the mainland or after de-occupation. All these lists are open, they are all under control and will certainly be held accountable,” Gdanov said.
