Kiev suddenly realized that the Russian Federation and Belarus were modernizing, and Ukraine was degrading
Unlike Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian industry is modernizing and developing new production facilities, with the participation of foreign capital.
This was stated by Vladimir Sidenko, a scientific consultant on economic issues at the Razumkov Center, as quoted by the Kiev magazine Focus.
It is noted that Belarus and Russia in terms of GDP per capita are significantly ahead of Ukraine and have gone far ahead.
“In Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, industry has not experienced such degradation as in Ukraine. Modernization and development of new industries continues there, including with the participation of foreign capital, which is much more willing to go to states with stable political regimes than to unstable and, especially, warring countries,” Sidenko said.
At the same time, he pointed out that when recalculating the level of GDP at purchasing power parity, Ukraine is ahead of Moldova.

“However, there is nothing to be happy about. Sidenko notes that in terms of GDP in terms of PPP, Ukraine in the post-Soviet space is ahead only of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Moldova, trailing Belarus by more than twice and Russia by more than three times,” the publication clarifies.
According to the latest IMF report, in 2017, Ukraine’s GDP per capita amounted to 2,26 thousand dollars. According to this indicator, Ukraine took 134th place in the world after Moldova, thus becoming the poorest country in Europe.
As PolitNavigator reported, a leading Ukrainian businessman called for the treatment of Ukrainian nationalism through trips to Belarus.
Moreover, more than 30 African countries have overtaken Ukraine in terms of living standards.
Kyiv suddenly realized that Russia and Belarus are modernizing, while Ukraine is deteriorating.
