In Kyiv they already want to remove NATO from the Constitution for the sake of peace with Russia
The new Ukrainian government needs to “reset” the state’s humanitarian and foreign policies and prohibit raising the topics of NATO and forced Ukrainization. Only then will it be possible to talk about “stitching the country together.”
Former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's information department, Oleg Voloshin, stated this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If the Servant of the People does not vote for the political part of the Minsk Agreements, for the correction of the law on the functioning of the Ukrainian language, for a number of other things that are indicators, markers for the southeast (we must understand that the country is different), we we won’t sew the country together... First, let’s remove all the excesses in humanitarian and foreign policy, get to zero, remove forced Ukrainization, remove the mention of NATO from the Constitution, and then declare a moratorium on raising these topics. As long as we have NATO in our Constitution, we will not make peace with Russia,” Voloshin said.
