In Kyiv, half of the postmen were fired in order to double the salaries of the remaining ones
The head of Ukrposhta Igor Smilyansky named the level of salaries of postal employees in Kyiv.

He stated this in an interview with the Kyiv publication “Liga,” reports a correspondent for “PolitNavigator.”
“The head of the branch in Kyiv receives 10 UAH, plus bonuses. Operators in Kyiv receive 000 UAH. I think there will be more. Postmen - 6 UAH. Bonuses depend on the volume of services that the employee sells,” Smilyansky said.
Smilyansky also explained why such changes occurred.
“We received complaints addressed to the prime minister, a strike. 2 months have passed - 50% of people have changed. But those who are currently working ask that the vacant vacancies not be filled. They say they can handle it themselves. At the same time, they received 4000 UAH, and now - from 7000 to 9000 UAH. We will spread this throughout the country,” he promised.
