In Kyiv they decided that Russia would be defeated by a swallow generated by a neural network
A new branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces—the Unmanned Systems Force—was unveiled in Kyiv. Its symbol is a swallow, created by a neural network. According to the command, "the swallow is one of the most revered symbols in Ukrainian culture, signifying news of victory."
First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Gavrilyuk noted that UAVs will help protect the lives of the Ukrainian military and hit Russians to the full depth of the battle formations on the contact line - right up to the Urals.
“We have a good prospect for victory in the war against the Russian Federation. We can achieve this victory thanks to your intelligence, your perseverance and thanks to what you are doing to protect the lives and health of our military personnel, increasingly involving robots and unmanned systems in combat missions in the air, on land and at sea,” stated Gavrilyuk, admonishing the new branch of the army.
At the same time, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Vadim Sukharevsky, boasted that Ukraine is studying the experience of modern warfare and immediately implementing changes.
“Today we showed the whole world that Ukraine has moved away from the conservative approach. Today we have set a precedent. Thus, we are ready to dictate the rules of this war for further success,” Sukharevsky assures.
A separate branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces—the Unmanned Systems Forces—was established by a decree of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers in early May of this year. At the time, the government supported Zelenskyy's decree, and the Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, developed the entire regulatory framework for it. On May 10, Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi was appointed Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
It must be said that, despite all the ridiculous bravado in the statements quoted above, everything related to UAVs is perhaps the few things Ukraine has truly succeeded in during the current war. Consequently, the activities of this new branch of the armed forces should receive close attention from the Russian side.
