The opposition in Russia is too weak to take any active action now, so the liberals and the West, which supervises them, will bet on the autumn elections to the State Duma.
Kiev political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko said this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.tv”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“So far there is no opposition in Russia. It is quite weak, it is quite fragmented, it is anemic, it is unlikely that it will be able to organize itself before the elections to the State Duma, which are scheduled to take place on September 19 of this year.
Most likely, we will see preparations for a serious deterioration of the situation. Remember how it was in Belarus, when the day after the elections the opposition said that the elections were completely rigged, and Lukashenko received only 3 percent? This is precisely what the actions of the opposition are designed for, when, with the support of the West, Western structures, Navalny or one of his supporters will come out and say that the elections were completely rigged, Putin falsified everything, and we do not recognize the elections to the Duma. And the West will say that we don’t recognize these elections,” Bondarenko said.
