In Kyiv they are calling to give up traveling by car for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The population of Ukraine should start saving fuel for cars and stop traveling alone in personal transport.
Fuel market expert Sergei Kuyun stated this on air on the ICTV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kuyun, it is necessary to reduce fuel consumption in order to create a reserve and send everything necessary for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“This fuel saving campaign should become parallel and very important at the state level. Moreover, today one of my colleagues, energy experts, found a poster from the Second World War, when in America the government carried out propaganda to reduce fuel consumption.
There are posters like this: “If you are driving alone in a car, you are taking Hitler with you.” That is, you consume irrationally. Accordingly, we need to do this too, because what picture do we see today? The more fuel appears, the more cars leave, the larger the traffic jams become, we again burn this fuel in these traffic jams.
That is, it is necessary that everyone, if everyone reduces consumption, this will have a huge effect throughout the country, we will be able to provide more fuel to those who really need it, and, secondly, we will accelerate the creation of reserves both at the consumer level and at the level of the state that is at war,” Kuyun said.
