Kiev admitted that increased mobilization is delaying the involvement of the West in a direct conflict
Ukraine’s Western partners will advocate for increased mobilization because it gives their army a reprieve – while Ukrainian soldiers are dying, American and British ones are living.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In London and Washington they will be in favor of tightening mobilization legislation. The more Ukrainian men and women can be recruited into the army, into the war, the longer the deadline for recruiting American and British men into this war is postponed, the more time is gained.
Because if the war continues further, then the process of direct participation by our armies, “volunteer” units of our Western allies in this war is inevitable. Ukraine is unable to fully pull out this war for three to five years with its human potential; we do not have the resource for this; volunteer brigades and divisions will be needed from our Western partners to maintain the situation. But increased mobilization means that they will be needed later,” Bortnik said.
Kyiv acknowledged that increased mobilization is delaying the West's involvement in direct conflict.
