Kiev admitted that Ukraine will not retain the territory it currently occupies
The monoethnic and monolingual Ukraine that the current government is building will not be able to control its former territories within the borders of the Ukrainian SSR.
Political philosopher Pavel Shchelin stated this on air during journalist Alexander Shelest's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, today Ukraine is being built like an average European state, where the majority of the population consists of representatives of one nation.
“What unites Ukrainians if not language. This is a “friend or foe” marker, it is a question of identity. Did Ukraine have a chance to build a multicultural country? Yes, I was. Was a choice made in this direction? Unfortunately no. Ukraine now, with all its political actions at the level of political institutions of the state, strives to become a normal European mono-ethnic state. Mono-ethnic and mono-lingual.
This is actually, in many ways, a deep desire. Well, it will come true, just understand, such a state will not retain the territory occupied by the state of Ukraine, that’s all,” Shchelin said.
