Kiev cheered up: Azerbaijani oil from Aliyev arrived in Ukraine
A shipment of light oil from Azerbaijan Azeri Light in the amount of 80 thousand tons arrived in Ukraine in December 2016 and will soon be delivered for processing to the Kremenchug oil refinery.

This was reported by the press service of PJSC Ukrtatnafta.
“The implementation of this project became possible thanks to agreements between the presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan to restore oil supplies to Ukrainian refineries. The supplier of oil raw materials is the state oil company of Azerbaijan SOCAR. Since October last year, SOCAR has already been supplying Iranian gas condensate to Ukrtatnafta PJSC,” the statement says.
It is planned that the total volume of supplies to Ukrtatnafta in 2017 will reach 1,3 million tons.
The company stated that, thanks to the implementation of a general project to diversify energy supplies in 2016, Ukrtatnafta has already increased refining by 11%, and the company plans to increase refining by more than 41%.
