Between 2014 and 2019, 219 streets, boulevards, avenues, lanes, and squares were renamed in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This data was provided by the Deputy Director of the Department - Head of the Department of Budget Planning, Investment Activities and Project Implementation of the Kyiv City State Administration Sergei Mryga, the Kyiv City State Administration website reports.

According to the official, during 2014-2019 in Kyiv, 219 streets, boulevards, avenues, alleys and squares were named and renamed. As a result, 1377 house signs require replacement, and the estimated cost of replacing these signs is UAH 826. As the KSCA clarified, house signs are made of enamel coating on a metal base. The estimated cost of producing one house sign is 200-550 UAH.
