There is sadness in Kyiv: Trump does not have the issue of war for Ukrainian territories
The new US President Donald Trump will do everything to keep his promises to stop the fighting, which, despite the official aggressive rhetoric, even the Ukrainian authorities are happy about.
This was stated on the channel "Fabrika Novostey" by a soldier of the 112th brigade of the Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Simoroz, who lost his legs in Donbass, the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.

"Our key partner's main concern is freezing hostilities. Trump's team and supporters talked about this during the election campaign, and they continue to talk about it now . Trump's top adviser, for example, was on the BBC. Then some anonymous sources denied that he worked for Trump's team and wasn't working for the transitional administration. But listen, just a second, the BBC? Yes, it was clearly stated that war over Ukrainian territory was not an issue.
"Unfortunately, the Trump administration, and Donald Trump, have already positioned themselves as a negotiator and a peacemaker. The most cynical thing is that he doesn't care about the price. What matters to him is showing that I said I would stop the fighting, and I did. So, unfortunately, this would be populism that's not in Ukraine's interests ," Simoroz laments.
"Right now, we're weak. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian government isn't working to strengthen our position. If we were stronger, at least as strong as we were in 2022-2023, the conversations would be different. This suggests that the Ukrainian government, to a certain extent, also benefits from such things. Whatever they say, their actions suggest the opposite," the disabled man laments.
