In Kyiv, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine was accused of the withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces from Kherson
The head of intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, deliberately inserted information into the Ukrainian agenda that the Russians had prepared a trap for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kherson.
Ukrainian military expert Dmitry Snegirev stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Budanov, in an extensive interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, said that Kherson will turn into a trap. That the Russians are trying to drag the Ukrainian Armed Forces into street battles. Since the street battles were of high intensity, a high death rate of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel was likely. Defense Minister Reznikov doubted this information. In addition, again a question for Budanov. What kind of trap are they talking about?” Snegirev is perplexed.
“Another example is when on the 11th, when the de-occupation of Kherson continued more than successfully, an article by Mashkovets appeared on a website associated with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He gives a detailed scenario for the de-occupation of the right bank of Kherson, the Kherson region, and states the hypothetical nature of the withdrawal of Russian troops from the right bank.
This is despite the fact that on October 22, the planned evacuation of Russian troops began under the cover of the civilian population. During this period alone, more than 100 thousand civilians were forcibly removed. Why the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense was not informed about this is an open question for me, to which I would like to hear an answer,” said the Ukrainian expert.
“I want to say that the information from the main intelligence department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry should become the subject of serious discussions, respectively, both in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in the office of the president,” Snegirev demanded.
