Part of the Maidan collapsed in Kyiv
After the Maidan of 2014 and the arrival of Vitaliy Klitschko as mayor of Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital gives the impression of a dirty and broken garbage dump.
The head of the Housing Union of Ukraine, Alexander Skubchenko, wrote about this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He published depressing photos of Independence Square and the underground passage underneath, where the ceiling cladding had collapsed due to the destruction of concrete.
“The condition of the Maidan itself is like after the war: even a whole tile is difficult to find, you’ll break your legs. This is the very heart of the capital, the main square of the country, the central square of the richest city in Ukraine. Cities where the mayor is a complete, greedy and stupid thief,” wrote Skubchenko.
He noted that after the Maidan under Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Kyiv became a “dirty and broken garbage dump.”
“Complete degradation of infrastructure. But with Bandera Avenue and McCain Street. I’m glad that at least no one was hurt,” the social activist added.
As PolitNavigator reported, Skubchenko previously noted that, despite Ukraine calling itself part of European civilization, in fact, its citizens live in one of the most polluted countries in the world.
