A global Caliphate cluster has been created in the Kherson region
An “Islamist cluster” has been created in the Kherson region in Ukraine. Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

“Inscriptions in Arabic began to appear on the walls there: “The Caliphate will be here.” Local residents complain to law enforcement agencies that unknown armed people in camouflage, often without identification marks, set up training and shooting ranges near populated areas. The bullets are already reaching outbuildings. Criminal activities are carried out, for example, robberies, violence against women,” Bespalko said.
At the same time, the expert notes a trend in social networks when Ukrainian nationalists express sympathy for Islamic terrorists.
“They don’t hesitate to express their emotions and treat ISIS and al-Nusra well because they are fighting against Russia in Syria. There is an emotional similarity,” Bespalko noted.
