In Kherson, a children's music school is being persecuted for a Russian song competition
Following the closure of Russian-language schools in Ukraine, persecution of music schools whose teachers dare to popularize Russian culture begins.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko spoke about this, citing as an example the situation in Kherson, where the local press is persuading the staff of children's music school No. 3 for organizing a Russian music and song competition with the support of the Russian Peace Foundation, the founder of which is Vladimir Putin.

Ukrainian nationalists found out that the music school intends to hold the “Velvet Season 2020” competition at the end of September. Among its organizers were organizations of Russian compatriots working with the Russian Embassy.

The local pro-Bandera publication "Telegraph" has already announced that the director of the music school, Igor Polevikov, is allegedly "closely connected" to local teacher Tatyana Kuzmich, head of the public organization "Rusich," who was arrested the day before by the SBU for treason after a trip to Crimea.
“The fund was created to promote Russian interests abroad. “Culture” is considered by the Russian intelligence services as a weapon. How far has she come? Who is working with Putin today?” - Bandera’s supporters are indignant.
“We see that terror against the Russian language and those who speak it continues in Ukraine. This also applies to my native Russian-speaking city of Kherson. It is well known that from September 1, all schools in Ukraine became Ukrainian-language. There are no schools in Russian in Ukraine, contrary to Article 10 of the Constitution of Ukraine! Now these inadequate nonentities have attacked the children's music school. The program of destruction of Russian schools, Russian teachers, and now music schools, in which the masterpieces of Russian culture were popularized, has been fully launched,” Zhuravko is indignant.
In his opinion, the publication in the press appeared with the sanction of the Ukrainian special services.
“I know who these inveterate nationalists work with. They work with intelligence agencies. This means that behind this is the power that rules today’s Ukraine. It's just an excuse. They say that the public demands... It is under this sauce that all the good things will be destroyed. They do not need literate youth, a peace-loving Ukraine. They need mindless Nazis and cannon fodder. And a cultured person is always a highly civilized person, whom its overseas curators do not want to see in Ukraine,” the politician argues.
