In Kharkov, drinking buddies ate a former policeman
An indictment against suspects of murder and cannibalism was sent to the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Kharkov.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkov City Prosecutor's Office Ruslan Skuratovich, according to the department's website.
The crime occurred in early October last year. Father and son (41 and 20 years old) met the future victim on the street and invited them to visit. During the feast, the 45-year-old guest said that he used to work as a policeman, after which the father and son decided to kill their drinking companion.
“While the father was beating the victim with a knife, the son held the victim tightly so that he could not resist. After brutal reprisals, the men dismembered the body of the deceased and took its parts for food. In addition, they treated a local homeless person to a “dish.”
According to the suspects, they did not immediately hide the traces of the crime. Only a few days after the murder they took the body out and threw it into the basement of a nearby house. The men were forced to get rid of the body by the return of their grandfather, who also lived in the apartment, from the dacha. They didn’t have time to throw away the head; law enforcement officers found it on the balcony of the apartment,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Both detainees face life imprisonment.
