The State Duma thanked Ukrainians for their idiotic behavior
Inadequate statements by Ukrainian representatives in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe allow Russia to more quickly and effectively convey its position to foreign partners.
Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The more idiotic statements the Verkhovna Rada deputies who are in PACE make, the easier it is sometimes to convey our position to our partners. Therefore, I am only glad that they have such a simple-minded Ukrainian, Little Russian vision of the modern world,” he said.
The parliamentarian also emphasized that without Russia, the Council of Europe would face a crisis, since the reason for the existence of this organization would be lost.
“PACE is organized quite complexly and is a body that cannot promptly make any decisions. This is always a complex contractual process. But it seems to me that everyone has already realized that the absence of Russia is leading this organization straight to crisis. Not even that the lights will be turned off at six o’clock in the evening, but that there will be nothing to talk about: about the meteorite threat, and only Ukrainian resolutions will be adopted,” Tolstoy added.
