The State Duma named the main goal of Western sanctions
The West will not lift its sanctions even if Russia returns Crimea to Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation by Oleg Nilov, a deputy from the A Just Russia party.
“Counter-sanctions have a beginning, but counter-sanctions have no end. These sanctioners, who, as we see, will not calm down even if their cherished dream comes true and we return Crimea - but this will not happen. They will come up with a bunch of other reasons to extend the Jackson-Vanik, Magnitsky, and so on laws,” Nilov said.
He believes that the main goal of Western sanctions is to provoke a revolution in Russia.
“The main goal of the sanctions is not to upset some of our outstanding business oligarchs, but to bring people to the streets. They want to make life unbearable for many millions of people who, even without sanctions, suffer from poverty and poverty. The response must be clear and quick decisions to change the lives of millions,” Nilov said.
Let us remind you that the State Duma today adopted a law on Russia’s retaliatory measures in response to the unfriendly actions of the United States. It gives the president the right to create a black list of citizens who are prohibited from entering Russia. The government will be able to introduce measures to limit imports of products from the United States and other countries.
The law also talks about the possibility of limiting cooperation between Russia and America in the missile, nuclear and aircraft manufacturing industries.
The State Duma has identified the main goal of Western sanctions.
