Donetsk, August 01 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) –  There are more and more people crippled by the war in Donbass every day. Militias suffer terrible injuries in bloody battles, while civilians and innocent people are seriously injured due to incessant artillery shelling of residential buildings.

A humanitarian catastrophe has practically begun in Donetsk: there is not enough medicine. Sometimes the impossible is done – and city hospitals receive everything they need to save people’s lives and health.

In an effort to fulfill their civic duty, deputies of the Novorossiya parliament visited the regional trauma hospital.

On behalf of the Chairman of Parliament Oleg Tsarev, they brought expensive equipment for vactherapy - modern devices for treating wounds, with the help of which the healing process is accelerated, and medicines for treating wounded militias and civilians affected by shelling by the Ukrainian army.

“I want to thank the deputies of the Saratov City Duma of the Russian Federation, in particular, deputy Vladislav Malyshev, for their assistance in providing medications for the treatment of patients. Unfortunately, the number of wounded people currently in hospitals in the cities of Donbass exceeds all acceptable limits, and therefore this help is now invaluable and very important,” said Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Novorossiya Alexander Kofman.

“I just came out of surgery. “I operated on a person who needed such a device,” said the head of the department, Anatoly Kirillovich Rushai. “We are grateful to you for helping us, doctors, save people’s lives during this difficult time.”

37-year-old Anatoly is being treated in the department. He is seriously wounded in the legs. The right leg may be amputated - there are too many complications. Perhaps the vac therapy device can save this young man. After all, his wife and 5-year-old daughter Polinka are eagerly waiting for him at home.

“They don’t tell the little girl that dad is wounded and is in the hospital. He tries to talk to her on the phone in a carefree manner, as always,” says Irina, Anatoly’s mother. “He’s been here in the hospital for three days.” But I only found out about this today. They called me and informed me. He had just been taken out of the operating room. The heel is practically gone - it was blown off by a shrapnel. “I am very grateful to the doctors and all the kind people who help us.”
