Donetsk, April 26 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, in support of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” and the idea of holding a referendum, a car rally was held and a rock concert is being prepared.

In Donetsk, despite the large number of protesters outside the Regional State Administration building, the situation is calm, a Navigator correspondent reports. Near the city hall, public order is ensured by people in the form of self-defense. At the very entrance to the city there are checkpoints manned by traffic police officers with machine guns.
Near the regional state administration building, supporters of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” take precautions, in particular, they do not allow the barricades or even the posters on them to be removed. It is almost impossible for an outsider to enter the premises of the Regional State Administration. To get inside, our correspondent had to overcome seven checkpoints. It is somewhat easier for representatives of local media and some Russian TV channels to work.
There is relative order in the Regional State Administration building itself. The consequences of preparations for the assaults can be observed on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There, the entrances are blocked by special welded metal structures. Interior doors are usually jammed. The presence of rioters is especially felt on the 7th floor, and on the 11th the situation is the same as before the seizure of the building.
DPR supporters are preparing for an evening rock concert, as well as a large-scale rally tomorrow.
